Position Overview

AxionDrive is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Security Engineer to join our team. As a Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our AI-driven automotive solutions, ensuring they are secure and resilient against threats. This hybrid role requires a blend of remote work and in-person collaboration at our Greenville, SC office.


Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain security protocols and practices for our AI and automotive systems.

  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability testing, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential threats.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, IT, and product managers to integrate robust security measures throughout the development lifecycle.

  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents, responding promptly to any breaches or vulnerabilities.

  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident response plans.

  • tay current with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance our security posture.

  • Train and educate employees on security best practices and protocols.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on practical applications in the AI or automotive industry.

  • Proficiency in security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols.

  • Experience with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.

  • Strong understanding of network security, application security, and cloud security.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment, with periodic travel to Greenville, SC.

  • Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a plus.

  • Passion for AI technology and its transformative potential in the automotive sector.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary ranging from $165,000 to $195,000 per year.
